Don’t give in to the Devil’s lies and tricks. His antics are to remove your focus and confidence from God. No matter how complicated and contradictory your problem may be, God has the final say.

Discouragement may be your biggest enemy this year because it may creep in at the moment when you are about having your conquest. You may have done all: pay your tithe, sow seeds, prayed and live a holy life yet something tragic happens and you face grave uncertainty.

Though the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church, yet, Jesus, the owner of the church, can close a church. We need to keep this in mind. It is a very dangerous thing to be done. We need to examine ourselves, therefore, what we are doing, to avoid been closed by the owner.

Fear debilitates us in the face of challenges and makes us unable to act accordingly. It makes us afraid of the situation, breaks our defence and disarms us. God tells us not to fear because He is with us. Whatever we are passing through now, God tells us today not to be afraid.
